Matthew Macfadyen

The nominees for the Royal Television Society Programme Awards have been announced.

Matthew Macfadyen has been nominated for the best actor award for his role in Little Dorrit. He is nominated against Rafe Spall.

Programme Awards Dinner 2008 will be held on Tuesday 17th March 2009 at the Grosvenor House Hotel.

Matthew Macfadyen (due to the Frost/Nixon nomination) was present on february the 8th at Royal Opera House in London for the BAFTA (British Academy Film Awards)

ITV has stopped the remake of A Passage To India.

Financial reasons are the reason of the stop to the remake.

It was in 2009 schedule and filming should start in early 2009.

The cast included Matthew Macfadyen, Sally Hawkins and Laurence Fox.
